TCS DOCUMENTs:
This doc may be a bit lengthy..but go through it...hope it'll clear some of ur doubts...
1.The documentation process of TCS has mainly two parts--
(a) Service agreement + Surety Verification + Medical report + Non-criminal affidavit.
(b)Back ground check.
(a)Service agreement +surety verification+ medical report + Non-criminal affidavit: -
Points to remember while preparing the SA--
1.The Service agreement should not be notarized..
2.The first page of the agreement may be either filled up by pen or it may be typed and then printed..
3.All the other pages of the SA MUST be filled by blue/black point pen…otherwise ur joining may be put on hold…
4.make sure that both of you and your surety have signed at the bottom of all the pages of the SA..
5.Your surety’s signature at the bottom of the pages should be identical to that of the surety’s PAN card..otherwise ur joining will be put on hold.they will mainly check the signatures and the names.
6.The Surety verification Form must be attested by a gazetted officer.
7.documents to be attached with the SA and SURETY VERIFICATION are :
(a)form16/IT return/form32 of ur surety attested by gazetted officer.(any ONE of these)
(b)Attested copy of Surety’s PAN card.
(c)Attested copy of the employee’s PAN card.
Points to remember for medical report –
1.nothing much..just verify whether ur picture has been attested by the doctor and the doctor’s stamp at the end of the report..
2.check whether all the fields have been filled up or not..
For non-criminal affidavit –
1.Print the portion “whereas I-----“ To “which I hereby do” of the 1st page of the (i.e. page number 12 of annexeure)form on a 100 rs stamp paper.
2.Print the clauses (clause 1—clause 6) on another plain sheet following the 100 rs stamp paper.Dont even dare to remove or edit any of the clauses.print as it is in the annexeure.
3. Print the other page i.e. the witness page on another plain sheet..
4.Get it notarized ….dont worry about the place and date issue on the witness page .u can give either ur DOJ and place as ur corresponding ILP centers or the date and place on which ur document was notarized (we were told this in kolkata)….i’ll rather suggest that leave the date and place field BLANK and fill them up at the time of joining as per ur ILP centers’ demands…
5.no proof is to be attached here…
This is the first set of DOCS…now in the second part there will be the BGC form fill up…
For BGC u will need--
1.passport size photograph…don’t attest it…
2.TCS applicant ID which u’ll find at the next step portal…login to the portal..go to ILP status..scroll down and get it..its also mentioned in ur joining letter.
WHILE FILLING UP THE FORM REMEMBER THESE THINGS….
1.The form starts from the page on which ur photo is pasted.
2.fill up the first page with ur personal details and give address with proper land mark.coz a specially organized team will conduct a verification process based on ur details given in the form within one month from ur DOJ.
3.In the permanent address field..u may give the period of stay(i.e FROM,,To) as From-birth TO-till date.
4.There is a consent letter attached to the BGC form..fill that and keep the Place and date field blank and fill those at the time of joining according to the demand of ur respective ILP center.
4.Give proper reason for ur year gap in education..just mention the year(i.e. from-2006 to-2007) ..give medical reports if the gap is due to medical issues and produce results/certificates if the gap is due to any additional courses done…
5.Most important is that if anyone is doing an affidavit on a rs 20 stamp paper then make sure that ur reason is stated there in a proper way..there are some formats for this affidavit given in this grp…choose any one of them…u may be asked to submit an attested copy of the rank card if ur gap is due to “preparation for engg entrance exams.”
Now what should be given as proofs???
1.DOB proof—ur berth cert/ 10th admit card/ voter ID card (self attested copy of any one of these)
2.Address proof—Electricity bill/ Ration Card/ Passport (self attested copy of any on of these )
3.Id proof—Pan card/ Voter ID card/ Passport (self attested copy of any one of these).
This is the documentation part..now the following documents should be carried at the day of joining….
1.10 th marksheet..(2 copies attested by gazetted officer+ original )
2.12th mark sheet (2 copies attested by gazetted officer + original).
3.All semester mark sheets(2 copies of each attested by gazetted officer + originals ).
4.Provisional/Course completion/Consolidated certificate.(any one of these,2 copies attested by gazetted officer + original).
5.Ur original birth cert.(2 copies attested by gazetted officer + original).. I know some of u have some problems regarding the language of the birth cert..if anyone has a BILINGUAL cert in which one of the two languages is ENGLISH then it will be ok…other wise u have to make an affidavit in english on a stamp paper(most probably rs 20)..after all u have to have ur birth statement in english …
6.Pan card (2 copies attested by the gazzeted officer + originl).
7.Passport(2 copies attested by gazette officer + original)…if anyone does not have a passport or have any issues regarding the passport don’t worry…passport IS NOT mandatory at the time of joining…u have to submit it within one year most probably..
8.2 copies of joining letter, carrying ur signature at the bottom of all the pages..one will be required to open ur salary account.
9.1 copy of offer letter carrying ur signature at the bottom of all the pages..
This is all about the whole documentation process…it is complex but not that tough..keep ur cool while arranging the documents and proofs..THIS IS MY PERSONAL SUGGESTION THAT KEEP ONE BLANK COPY OF THE BGC FORM TO YOURSELVES COZ IF ANYTHING WRONG HAPPENS ON THE D-DAY U’LL HAVE AN ALTERNATIVE AVAILABLE..AND ONE MORE THING,,TAKE 1-2 MORE XEROX COPIES OF EACH DOCUMENTS SO THAT U DON’T FACE A PROBLEM REGARDING SELF-ATTESTATION..AND LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST,,IF U HAVE ANY DOUBT ANYWHERE,, LEAVE IT BLANK (EXCEPT SIGNATURE FIELDS),,ASK UR ILP CO-ORDINATOR ON UR JOINING DATE AND THEN FILL UP…..
